Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Administration for Market Regulation organized a system inspection of infant formula milk powder production enterprises. The inspection team followed the system inspection process of the State Administration for Market Regulation and conducted a comprehensive and systematic inspection of 51 projects in 13 aspects, including production processes and workshop layout design, system implementation and operation management, inspection and testing capabilities and management, in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, technical standards and norms.

The inspection team promptly summarized and analyzed the problems found during the inspection, and based on sufficient communication with the enterprise and local regulatory departments, formed inspection opinions and provided on-site feedback to the enterprise, and put forward clear requirements for the next step of rectification and acceptance work.

The successful completion of this system inspection marks that Jiangsu Province has achieved the provincial-level system inspection target for infant formula milk powder production enterprises determined by the State Administration for Market Regulation in 2019. It has a positive significance for improving the quality control ability of infant formula milk powder production in Jiangsu Province and ensuring product quality and safety
