As the "World Capital of Small Commodities", Yiwu has achieved significant results in standardization work in recent years. The national standards released this time not only cover national standards in multiple consumer goods fields, but also are closely related to economic and social development, daily life of the people, involving many fields such as industrial manufacturing, environmental protection, social services, electronic information, home services, agricultural safety, etc.

In the field of consumer goods, four national standards in the eyewear industry, including the "Glasses Frame Measurement System and Terminology," have standardized the measurement system for eyeglass frames, unified the basic requirements for eyeglass lenses, improved the manufacturing level of eyeglass frames, and maintained consumers' visual health. Seven national standards in the field of textiles, including "Knitted Sportswear," have filled in and improved the evaluation and testing methods for multiple indicators in the textile industry, such as color fastness, moisture absorption and quick drying, and fatigue resistance and appearance changes of elastic webbing, further improving the product quality of the textile industry. Three national standards in the field of clothing, including "Qipao", "Inspection Rules for Professional Clothing", and "Technical Requirements for Moisture Resistance of Coated Clothing", play a positive role in promoting the quality improvement of Qipao products in China, regulating the production of customized clothing enterprises, and further enhancing the overall level and international competitiveness of coated clothing in China. Fourteen national standards in the field of footwear, including the "Shoe Whole Shoe Test Method for Shock Absorption Performance," have established testing methods for multiple performance indicators such as shock absorption, bacterial resistance, and flexural resistance of footwear products, providing comprehensive technical support for the management and improvement of footwear product quality in China. Five national standards in the field of watches, including "Shock resistant Watches", have made clear provisions on the shock resistance testing methods, pointer accuracy, interior requirements, etc. for shock resistant watches, quartz clocks, mechanical watches and other watch products, which can improve the processing accuracy and product quality of China's watch products and enhance international competitiveness. The two national standards in the field of household appliances, "Performance Testing Methods for Household Drum Dryers" and "Performance Testing Methods for Electric Food Processing Appliances", provide the latest technical specifications and standards for the upgrading of household drum dryers and products in China, and also unify the testing methods for various functions and performance of electric food processing appliances used for stirring, tapping, stirring, meat grinding, juice extraction, etc. In addition, there are two national standards related to the field of hair products, namely "Terminology for Hair Products" and "Hair Products Wigs, Headsets, and Accessories", as well as the national standard "Neutral Ink Ballpoint Pen and Pen Core" related to the field of pen making.

In the field of industrial manufacturing, the "General Technical Conditions for Heavy Machinery" series of national standards belong to the international advanced basic process standards for heavy equipment manufacturing industry, which will promote the overall process and technology progress of China's heavy machinery manufacturing industry, play a "bridge" role for enterprises to open up markets and participate in international competition, and support and serve the development of the "the Belt and Road". The national standard of "Hot Rolled Longitudinal Variable Thickness Steel Plate" fills the gap in the standard of longitudinal variable thickness steel plate, a new material in China's steel industry. This standard helps to standardize online monitoring activities related to the quality of e-commerce transaction products, provide technical support for risk warning and control of e-commerce transaction product quality, and effectively protect consumer rights and interests. The national standard "Information Technology Efficient Multimedia Encoding Part 1: System" conforms to the trend of technological development and provides an adaptive streaming media transmission standard for IP networks, providing technical specifications for adaptive bitrate transmission and content protection of multi screen videos. The release and implementation of the standard will promote the joint development, experimental demonstration system construction, and large-scale commercial promotion of network adaptive streaming media systems based on the independent intellectual property encoding and decoding standard (AVS) by the domestic audio and video industry and third-party testing institutions.
